I love this song and when I hear it I think of my puppy dog of nearly 14 years who we had to put down as he had lymph cancer, He was a very special dog and I miss him heaps. R.I.P. Major and I will always remember you!
This was the first song I heard Steve Augeri, it was weird how much he sounded like Steve Perry. Now that I've heard Augeri more, he doesn't sound as much like Perry but still very good.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. I mean he did a great job. But right now his voice is shot and Jeff Scott Sodo is their new lead singer for now. But I am pretty sure he's gonna stay for good. Augeri sounds like he's done. I love this song though. I can't help but listen to it over and over again.

Yea this is definitely my favorite song with Steve Augeri; I feel that it's his strongest work, as they recorded it before imitating Perry destroyed his vocals (temporarily) =.
Also, since I can sing Journey songs with Perry pitch-for-pitch (although pitch isn't everything, as any vocalist will tell you), singing this one as a Journey song is a nice break :S.
