BrooklynPunk: I think Fat Mike went sober back in the late 90's & he's singing this song as a character to demonstrate the negatives to those who drink & do drugs.
This subject matter reminds me of "What Happened" by Sublime.
I definetely agree with JeffKaos71, I was thinking about What Happened while reading these lyrics. Also, while Fat Mike may have had a sober period in his life, he definetely hasn't stuck to it.. He's known for his drug and alcohol use and I also don't necessarily think Fatty's saying that it's a bad thing, he's just bewildered by the fact that he can't remember shit.
It's about partying too hard, obviously, but I don't think he's trying to say that shit is necessarily bad, just thinking about it. I've been there before.
