yeah um it being about Bob Saget makes no sense at all whatever... but ok.
I think it's just mainly about a couple that has become distanced by something and they feel as if they don't know each other the way they used to. and he doesn't wanna just give up and end things, but he knows deep down inside that he has to.
I love this song, and I can totally relate to it, just about every single relationship I have had, the passion has burned out, and this song completely describes how that feels.
this song always makes me cry. i've been in love with this guy for a year, and this song reminds me of him, mostly because i first heard it around the time i met him. but, i think it's about a girl and a guy, who really loved each other, but they've both changed, even though they don't want to admit it. "the things that bring us together only wait to tear us apart"; i love that. it's like saying that the things they used to love about each other are now the reasons they fight so much. but yeah, he really doesn't want to let her go and move on, but he knows he has to in order to get on with the rest of his life, but no matter what, he'll always remember her. which is exactly how i feel, in a different sense of course..i love you drw<3
