this has to be one of my favorite songs because it sounds like my life. spiking soda with booze is something i enjoy doing. i take the train around all the time (even IN CHICAGO). TOP is amazing.

here's some corrections...

"Let's the train down to the lake It's such a gorgeous day out We'd be crazy If we stayed indoors Just because we're poor Doesn't mean we have to Be caught being bored"

and i'm pretty sure "And our true dispositions" should be "And our drunk dispositions" (because it's talking about hiding being drunk behind calm demeanors and dark sunglasses--like a hangover). and all of the "I loved you all alone"s should be "I loved you all along."

i think this song is just about enjoying life and spending time with friends. it kind of reminds me of when my friends and i took the train to chicago and spiked our gatorade bottles with vodka.

but i saw these guys live at warped tour over the summer. they were pretty awesome.

and it's "Like a swift kick to the head" not "hand"

I saw these guys in concert just last weekend with Jack's Mannequin. They're really something! Very good live, and I absolutely love this song.

Only, yeah... the lyrics are a bit messed up.

It's: "I hope these words connect Like a swift kick to the head"

the only correction i found was that it's suppose to be "I hope these words connect Like a swift kick to the head"

I love this song. The lyrics and the melody of the song make me wanna just run around and play in the grass. ha. It's true, though. Great song.

I love the song though

Treaty of Paris is an awesome local band. I've loved them since the first time I saw them as a little-known opener in the Metro. This is definitely my favorite song of theirs.

But wow. So many things wrong with these lyrics. Let's start at the beginning:
