Boxcar Lyrics
Oh don’t speak dirty things (?)
I know you feel like we can go inside
We can talk in private here
Tell me now of how they used to be
But I'm not crazy I'm just a little boy
And you’re not crazy you're just a little girl
We can find an old boxcar
In the woods to make our home
We can make a broom of weeds
And brush and sweep daddi's away
We were banned to being small
We can find a place and raise ourselves
You be ill with so much guilt
But we’ve assume that they got better now
But I'm not crazy I'm just a little boy
And you’re not crazy you're just a little girl
We can find an old boxcar
In the woods to make our home
Make a bed of maple leaves
Sleep with doves on the door
On the sill what we need
Keep our milk in the stream
We can make a broom weeds
And brush and sweep daddi's away
I know you feel like we can go inside
We can talk in private here
Tell me now of how they used to be
But I'm not crazy I'm just a little boy
And you’re not crazy you're just a little girl
In the woods to make our home
We can make a broom of weeds
And brush and sweep daddi's away
We can find a place and raise ourselves
You be ill with so much guilt
But we’ve assume that they got better now
But I'm not crazy I'm just a little boy
And you’re not crazy you're just a little girl
In the woods to make our home
Make a bed of maple leaves
Sleep with doves on the door
On the sill what we need
Keep our milk in the stream
We can make a broom weeds
And brush and sweep daddi's away

I'm not sure... I think the first line is more like "On our street, dirty scene/dirt is seen" or something.
Niltse is right.
The song's just about being in love and running off together and being together really peacefully and away from the world.
It's pretty.
one of my favourites songs :D just GREAT.
There are some important mistakes above, so I'll copy the lyrics from the original cd:
On our street, dirty seats I know you feel like we can't go inside we can talk in private here tell me now of how things used to be. But I'm not crazy I'm just a little boy And you’re not crazy you're just a little girl.
We could find an old boxcar In the woods to make our home We could make a broom of weeds And brush and sweep all the Daddies away.
If we went back to being small We could find a place where we could raise ourselves You'd be ill with so much guilt But we’d pretend that they got better now, But I'm not crazy I'm just a little boy And you’re not crazy you're just a little girl
We could find an old boxcar In the woods to make our home Make a bed of maple leaves Sleep with minds on the door Only steal what we need Keep our milk in the stream We could make a broom of weeds, And brush and sweep all the Daddies away.
