End of Me Lyrics

I'll speak the truth - I was addicted to you
and in love with all that you'd do
Made up your mind I'd made up mine
and with that I think I will be fine

Cause I won't let you
Be the end of me
End of me
Anymore
Anymore

I can't decide if this is fiction or fact
Doesn't matter now, because I won't look back
I just need get this out of my head, no need for regrets
No matter what, it comes with learning to accept

Cause I won't let you
Be the end of me
Anymore
Anymore
End of Me
Anymore

Cover art for End of Me lyrics by Sleep Clinic

I think this song is about a girl who was addicted to a guy, or possibly addicted to trying to get him to want her back. But both of their minds are made up that they arnt meant to be together or atleast don't want to be. Not just because she's in love with someone else but because the way she sees it, the bad has outweighed the good...

'and with that I think I will be fine'

Knowing that it has been an unhealthy relationship and realizing that shes better than that, deserves a guy who deserves her leaves her thinking she will be fine.

'I can't decide if this is fiction or fact Doesn't matter now, because I won't look back I just need get this out of my head, no need for regrets No matter what, it comes with learning to accept'

Thinking about it, she can't believe how she tripped over this guy. Is it fact or fiction that she did? Questioning, almost like she doesn't want to believe it did but it doesn't matter now because shes not looking back, he's out of her head and if those feelings ever do come back shes just going to think of them like a cloud, not gonna focus on them but just let them float by.
