On the Teddybears cd there is two versions of this song. One sung by Neneh Cherry and the other one is sung by Annie i think, i'm not sure. I love this song, it reminds me of my ex-gf and i get teary whenever i hear it now.

Agreed with ohmissa, that version is hands down the best.
Anyway atleast in that version the lyrics are definitely "we can sit and watch as my hair grows", not "we can sit along as my hair grows"
