Little Wing Lyrics

Well she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that's running 'round.
Butterflies and zebras, fairy tales,
That's all she ever thinks about.

When I'm sad she comes to me
With a thousand smiles she gives to me free.
Said, "It's all right, take anything you want,
Anything you want, anything."

Well she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that's running 'round.
Butterflies and zebras, fairy tales,
That's all she ever thinks about.

When I'm sad she comes to me
With a thousand smiles she gives to me free.
Said, "It's all right, take anything you want,
Anything you want, anything."

Fly on, little wing.

They did this as a tribute to Jimi Hendrex and recorded 6 days before he died.

yes, and he had planned on doing a cover of Jimi's anyways, since Hendrix covered Sunshine of your Love. It was a sad day for EC he lost a good friend when Hendrix died. Years later it happened again when Stevie Ray Vaughn died...

Amazing cover. Even though it wasn't intended, I think this serves as a brilliant tribute to Jimi Hendrix. After all, Clapton was one of his good friends.

this is an amazing cover version of Jimi's song. i suppose he wrote this about a woman or imaginary friend that helps him when he's feeling low. maybe drugs? but isn't every song about drugs? i guess i should check the lyrics for Jimi's version.
