No idea waht it is about, but amazing that a 11-year old can write such a lyrics!
i think she's talking about dreaming. but wait WTF? she's eleven?
no actually i think she's talking about getting "discovered" as in, getting onto a major record label. she says "you can get discovered and never find yourself" she's talking about people who sell out or don't actually like to play music, they just do it for the money.
i think she's talking about an oasis somewhere.

Yeah, she was 11-12ish when she wrote this (released when she was 12 and her sister, the drummer, was 10). I agree whole heartedly with jellypop's assessment, Especially considering the indie roots of this duo.

"You'll never be discovered, never have to show yourself And you can hide till whatever time you want to" As with all major record labels, the finished product is completely at the hands of the company, not the band. They can make you sing whatever the hell they want depending on the type of contract. However, it is my belief that it is just inexperience speaking when she mentions "you can hide till whatever time you want to" because of unbreakable record contracts. Not a big fan of the song personally, or the lyrics of She Like Electric in general because of the lack of dimension, but that is just me being a pretentious snob lol.
