Jimi Hendrix cover song that Stevie made into an 11 minute song I think he comined the lyrics of Voodoo Child (Slight Return) with the solos from Voodoo Chile
The other day i found an old Stevie Ray Vaughn tape in a thrift shop. Thanks to this cover he is now one of my favorite artists.
The song is an (incredible) Hendrix cover, both made it look so easy.
like EVERY srv song, the sound is too clean and overproduced. hendrix had the real raw sound. as a guitarist, srv was amazing, but i just cant listen to his band. its almost souless - the drums sound like theyre electric for gods sake...
