i almost think this is sort of about goth/emo? kids, maybe a bit sarcastic. like so hard to be yourself when youre 4+10, meaning 14, maybe theyre being sarcastic about the fact that life is hard when youre 14 because it really isnt? anyway i think its a spoof at goths/emos? who think they have the worst life ever.

I don't really think it'd be a mockery of emo's, considering being an "emo" wasn't really much of a trend as it is now.
Possibly out of goths, but it's not always a particular clique who feels like this, many kids at 14 start to think the world's against them. Maybe it's just a spoof of adolsecents in general?
