i love the melody of this song, but i dont what it is about.
nick torres is a genius.
I dunno why...but I like to think of "the girl with the golden back" as a girl who is genuine or a girl who lacks mystery. When you face someone you see their face, but you never see their back. So, the back being golden means what you cannot see is still what you would want out of her.
It's talking about the Queen of Jerusalem who supposively rode a lady horse named Gurlah and had a saddle plated in gold, the Queen was known for her one affairs that she had with this young boy, and people found out cause of the candle that was left lite one night, so they were caught and both punished...
