If you're going to San Francisco

If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

Cover art for The Sound Of San Francisco lyrics by Global Deejays

I grew up spending weeks of every summer in San Francisco. My family would rent a house in Pacific Heights. My sister and I grew up hanging in the city, but also at Stinson Beach and in Mill Valley. I saw Bob Weir play in teeny venues (heaven). I LOVE the Haight. My mom adored putting flowers in my hair when I was a kid. I grew up with San Fran in my soul. It is still a huge part of me.

Just like my gay friends. They are all important to me. One in particular! He gave me this song.

Thank you babe.
