this song is so significant for me. a love song, pure and simple, describing a complete and total shock at being in love and being loved in return. "i don't know why it's so hard to consider this, i've reached up so many times to find my hands full of emptiness". so used to being alone, and now that they're finally not it's almost impossible to fathom. beautiful.
Hearing Doris sing this live almost brought tears to my eyes. She has such a beautiful voice, and the lyrics are so beautiful.
