Complication Is My Claim To Fame
I Can’t Believe There’s Another, Constantly Just Another
Can’t Avoid What I Can’t Control
I’m Losing Ground, Still I Can’t Stand Down
I Know, Yea I Know…
I Know You Stay True When My World Is False
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
I Always See You When My Sight Is Lost,
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
It’s Hard To Trust Anyone Again
After All The Let Downs I’ve Been Through,
Haunted By What I’ve Been Through.
Air’s Still Trapped, While I Still Can’t Breathe,
And I’m Screaming Out, Give Me Help Somehow.
I Know, Yea I Know…
I Know You Stay True When My World Is False
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
I Always See You When My Sight Is Lost,
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
…Chaos
I Know You Stay True
I Can’t Believe There’s Another, Constantly Just Another
Can’t Avoid What I Can’t Control
I’m Losing Ground, Still I Can’t Stand Down
I Know, Yea I Know…
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
I Always See You When My Sight Is Lost,
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
After All The Let Downs I’ve Been Through,
Haunted By What I’ve Been Through.
Air’s Still Trapped, While I Still Can’t Breathe,
And I’m Screaming Out, Give Me Help Somehow.
I Know, Yea I Know…
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
I Always See You When My Sight Is Lost,
Everything Around’s Breaking Down To Chaos
I Know You Stay True

Mute Math is not a Christian band. They are just a band of members who are Christians.
I actually had NO idea they were Christians, or that any of their songs were about God or Jesus until I googled them a few months after getting into them and saw them appear on a Christian website.
I am an Atheist. But this band is so incredibly amazing. Their music is incredible, and they are so talented with their instruments and with putting it all together, that it doesn't really matter who or what they're writing about it. If they have a fanbase of Christians who can listen to the music and get something Godly out of it, then fantastic. But what I get out of it is just the beauty of the music itself, and I had always interpreted their music to being about a significant other.
Regardless of what you believe, or who you believe in, this band is so amazing and you have to give them that. I've heard they're also really good live, and I already have my ticket for their fall tour in St. Louis! I'm so excited!
Behhh, Mute Math literally sued their record label because they are not a Christian band. This song is open to interpretation, really. It could be anyone, whether that's a lover, a friend, or God that the character in the song is depending on. This song is about depending on someone during times of, well, chaos, and the identity of that someone is left for the listener to decide.
Silentmovie-
I noticed that as well, but that goes back to a lot of Christian songs. Change God/Christ to a girls name and what not. A lot of Lifehouse stuff is like that too. Doesn't matter to me, becuase to me the song is about how God is always there, in the good and the bad... Great thing about music, poetry, film, and all types of art, is that you can interpret it the way YOU want to. Everything has it's own individual meaning to everyone who witnesses it, that's what's so great about this world.
DARREN IS FREAKING AWESOME! he's extremely nice and an amazing drummer!
this is such a nice song. I heard it on a Degrassi commercial and it's been stuck in my head, but I really like the lyrics. I def. have to check out Mute Math more.
thats exactly where I heard it, and i immediatly had to listen to it again, so I went on their myspace. Anyways, this is could just as easily be a love song as it could be a christian rock song. Has anyone else realized that?
i heard it on the same commercial and had to hear more. they are wonderful artists!
they opened for the Fray in charlotte in january. GREAT live
I like how his singing rhythm and the rhythm of the music are kind of off, it helps to express the “Chaos” mentioned in the lyrics.
it kind of annoys me how all the songs i love are hard out christian when you actually listen to the lyrics because i'm not religious at all but i love this song and i love this band
