Be Gone Lyrics

Be gone
Be gone
Be gone your olden ways, be gone
Don't be afraid of anyone
Like seasons, just move on

Aorta liver ventricles
And other winter vehicles
From indigo to crystalline
You've one more chance, so get it right

Oh Floreal
Oh guillotine
Oh Floreal
I love your iridescent sheen
As it reflects you and reflects me

Oh don't believe all of your golden memories
They're little more than make believe
So listen carefully

Agonic lines, ascendances and amatory tendencies
From here to heart arrhythmias
Oh don't you know we're not like this

Oh Floreal
Oh guillotine
Oh Floreal
I love your iridescent sheen
As it reflects you and it reflects me

Oh Floreal
Oh guillotine
Oh Floreal
I love your iridescent sheen
As it reflects you and reflects me

Heheheh, yeah.

Lovely song though. Great to drive around the countryside to on a summers day.

it is about the French Republican Calendar, without a doubt.

Shit, it really might be. April 20 to May 19.

OK, so I see how "Floréal" and the guillotine might refer to the French Republican Calendar and the French Revolution, but how do the rest of the lyrics fit in?

'Agonic lines' and the things about the heart and the liver don't seem to bear any relation to it.

And the indigo to crystalline bit seems to refer to the "Indigo children" new age thing.

well I love the verse I can understand (golden memories)

The song is about renewal. “Floreal” is the beginning of spring in the French revolutionary calendar (guiillotine is a related reference.). “Aorta liver ventricles” refers to the documented medical relationship between one’s heart and liver to live. “Indigo to chrystalline” is a reference to a new age religion (Star Children). “Agonic lines” are imaginary equatorial lines running from south to north poles, or any place at which a compass points true north.
