Footprints In The Thunder Lyrics
Freefall, falling inside
Its alright
Take aim, We’re behind.
Its alright
Never be from where you came ( this could be your last time )
You’ll never see, we’re the same ( this could be your last time )
I don’t feel your sympathy.
I just feel your rapid mistakes.
Burn away
Build our houses up and cherish our lives, I screamed out with our hearts, I love you (2)
Bloodcurdled voices! They call your name! I screamed out with our hearts I love you
We’ll get there soon, wait for us there….
We’ll get there soon sometime anytime soon

This song means a lot to me, it reminds me of my boy =] I like the line "Take aim, we're behind" as it is like you will always have the support, go for whatever it is you need to do.
its the best song ever. the words are so meaningful i could cry. seriously. Build our houses up and cherish our lives, I screamed out with our hearts, I love you thats fucking genius. it means too much for words to me
I can't believe this song hasn't got any more comments! This is by far my favourite song by Truant. "Build up our houses and cherish our lives, I screamed out with our hearts, 'I love you'. Bloodcurdled voices! They call your name! I screamed out with our hearts, 'I love you'!" The way he sings that is so powerful, and so moving. It's unbelievable, and the way he says, "I don’t feel your sympathy, I just feel your rapid mistakes." sounds so emotional. I'm not too sure what the song means, though, but it's an incredible song nether-the-less.
This song means so much to me. To me, there is nothing missing from this song: it's melodic, it's heavy, it's meaningful. Everything's in place. I've listened to this song about 800 times over the course of a month and a half, and it never loses its touch.
I don't fancy analyzing this song right now, but I just thought I'd add my 2 cents; this song has hands down the greatest outro to any album ever. The only competition it has would be In The Name of Bleeding Hearts, from the same band!
I could seriously listen to the way Olly sings "Wait for us there.." at 04:38 on repeat (just that single line) for hours on end. This song means so much to me it's insane.
I love how a band as heavy as JT can sing such lovely lyrics.
Definitely my favourite JT song ever, not only 'cos it's just awesome, but Olly dedicated it to my friend and me one time when we saw them live.
It's beautiful. Reminds me of someone, although cant be with them. I just want to scream out i care about him. He is too complicated thou?
