Radioactive Lyrics
Well I'm not uptight
Not unattracted
Turn me on tonight
Cause I'm radioactive
Radioactive
There's not a fight
And I'm not your captive
Turn me loose tonight
Cause I'm radioactive
Radioactive
I want to stay with you
I want to play with you baby
I want to lay with you
And I want you to know
Got to concentrate
don't be distractive
Turn me on tonight
Cause I'm radioactive
Radioactive
Radioactive
Radioactive
I want to stay with you
I don't want to play with you
I want just to lay with you
And I want you to know
Got to concentrate
don't be distractive
Turn me on tonight
Cause I'm radioactive oh yeah
Oh yeah radioactive
Don't you stand, stand too close
You might catch it
Not unattracted
Turn me on tonight
Cause I'm radioactive
Radioactive
And I'm not your captive
Turn me loose tonight
Cause I'm radioactive
Radioactive
I want to play with you baby
I want to lay with you
And I want you to know
don't be distractive
Turn me on tonight
Cause I'm radioactive
Radioactive
Radioactive
Radioactive
I don't want to play with you
I want just to lay with you
And I want you to know
don't be distractive
Turn me on tonight
Cause I'm radioactive oh yeah
Oh yeah radioactive
Don't you stand, stand too close
You might catch it

this song is awesome
This song mark the joining of Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds) and Paul Rodgers (Bad Company, Free) but unfortunately this was the only album cut due to low sales and popularity.
They actually did have a second album,"Mean Business", which had a decent single in "All The King's Horses"... But that second album wasn't very successful and Page and Rodgers disbanded the group at that point...

@kfe2 Live in Peace was a good song off the second album as well.

It makes me think of the Curies, being the discoverers of radioactivity and all.
As far as I can tell, the meaning of this song is: Paul Rodgers needed to write some lyrics quickly. He was was looking forward to making some dough, because he and Page were regarded as 'bankable' by record execs. They'd quickly run through their advance chartering jets and snorting coke. Unfortunately, he had run out of rhymes - outside of the most hackneyed ones. He had run out of ideas that distinguished his lyrics from the great steaming turd that was 80s AOR radio as it became CHR. Overall, the meaning of this song is the complete bankruptcy of the myth of quality behind these 70s rock icons.
This is a pretty good song but, taking into consideration the amazing lineup of this band, they could have and should have had a lot better songs.
It was written by Gene Simmons!
