This song is pretty amazing True Gothic Metal!
I can't quite say what I think this song means.. it's complex. The chorus is amazing. As well as the rest, but still.
This song is off the Vinland Saga album. The whole album is about a Norse Viking sailing to Finland and having to leave his pregnant wife in Norway. This song is about him getting attacked by an enemy(as sung by the male vocals) and his wife fearing for him and hoping he'll return home safely(sung by Liv).
Not to Finland, they sail to an "unknown land", or Vinland (Newfoundland) :)
