These Rhinestone Days Lyrics
Now we live our lives so nonchalant
We spend our time so bon vivant
Our stylish nights are well arranged
Those tasteful words that we exchange
You know it's all a passing phase
We light our lamps for atmosphere
And hang our hopes on chandeliers
I don't know why we even care
We'll try and try and get nowhere
We'll change our minds, we've changed our ways
These rhinestone days
So go our lives so nonchalant
We spend our time so bon vivant
I don't know why we even care
We'll try and try and get nowhere
We'll change our minds, we've changed our ways
These rhinestone days
We spend our time so bon vivant
Our stylish nights are well arranged
Those tasteful words that we exchange
You know it's all a passing phase
And hang our hopes on chandeliers
I don't know why we even care
We'll try and try and get nowhere
We'll change our minds, we've changed our ways
These rhinestone days
We spend our time so bon vivant
I don't know why we even care
We'll try and try and get nowhere
We'll change our minds, we've changed our ways
These rhinestone days

I suppose this was the first version of "I've Loved These Days." Of course the similarities are obvious - as well as the dissimilarities. This one just happens to be a heck of a lot shorter. I like this version, but "I've Loved These Days" is a lot more classy. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy. Oh well. :) Rock on Billy!
