I see it a little different... kinda as a big 'screw you' to religion. Maybe christianity specifically. Like, the first few lines make me think of a priest who rapes children. The priest would be the angel with a phallic smile. The child is born again into this deformed religion... so parents are warned to lock them up. Also, while religious people look forward to death, they actually shouldn't because it's all a fallacy and there's "no glory among the dead" I don't really know... I'm not one to be all that good at decoding lyrics, but for this one I just see vampires as a metaphor for something more meaningful. Great song regardless of the meaning.
I can't believe no one has commented on this band! Johnny Truant are genius! I Saw them when they were supporting Alexisonfire and they fuckin made that gig. This song is by far my favourite. Raw and powerful guitar riffs and ear splitting lyrics. FUCKING AWESOME!!

Johnny truant are fucking amazing, been a fan for years, will have to post some of their older stuff- seven days at knife point is an incredible song. I think this song's about vampires "What now? Your bloods infected It's all sinister and masturbated Let go of his neck" and "take the stakes and hatchets" as in to kill the vampires (stake through the heart)
First song by Truant that I ever heard. Thankyou scuzz. I fell in love with them straight away. This song seems to be about zombies? or vampires? Something along those lines.
