She's just like wasabi
Looks like a barbie
She's just too hot for me
She's like a sunami
Can wipe out an army
With a blink of an eye, she can part the red sea
Drives a yellow ferrari
Wears Nike & Amarni
Her jewellery's all Tiffany's
She hangs out with Arni
Sipps champagne in Pari
But all she ever wants, Is to do it with me

Chorus:
Wasabi
So damn hot Yeah my head's gonna blow
Wasabi
She's on eleven She can go go go
Whao whao whao

She's organic, Vegan
Eats tofu, no bacon
Every creature's so cute u c
Won't tolerate hate &
No furs & no pagans
Quotes every God, every guru schwarmi
She's wise as Kenobi
Listens to Moby
Every day on her plas TV
Speaks french and malaysian
Scores 100's and a's 'n
All she ever wants Is to do it with me

Chorus:
Wasabi
So damn hot Yeah my head's gonna blow
Wasabi
She's on eleven She can go go
Wasabi
So damn hot Yeah my head's gonna blow
Wasabi
She's on eleven She can go go go
Whao whao whao

She's just like wasabi
Looks like a barbie
she's just too hot for me
She's like a sunami
Can wipe out an army
With a blink of an eye, she can part the red sea
Flys jets cross the canyon
Sky dives with the band ain't
your average adrenaline freak
She tightropes niagra
Don't need no viagra
Cause all she really wants is to do it with me

Chorus:
Wasabi
So damn hot Yeah my head's gonna blow
Wasabi
She's on eleven She can go
Wasabi
So damn hot Yeah my head's gonna blow
Wasabi
She's on eleven She can go go go
Whao whao whao

I live in Lee's home town of Frankston and to be quite "frank" Lee is SO popular down here. Yeah Yeah "he's songs are so cheap" Who cares?! If you think the songs crap then dont comment it ! comment a song you do like. Anyway Lee I think is a GREAT singer I think and an awesome entertainer live especially when he came to my school and did an awesome version of Eye of The tiger. I would consider his music pop rock instead punk although it does have some wicked guitar strums. Its a really catchy beat + personally I love the song. Just because its about absolutely nothing ! Anyone can write a song about absolutely nothing, but I think Lee did a good job with mixing the music with the Lyrics. x

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.
