That's right, pleased to meet you
I still won't tell you my name
Don't you believe in mystery?
Don't you want to play my game?

I'm looking for a man to love me
Like I've never been loved before
I'm looking for a man that'll do it anywhere
Even on the limousine floor

'Cause tonight, I'm living in a fantasy
My own little nasty world
Tonight, don't you want to come with me?
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy
My own little nasty world
Tonight, don't you want to come with me?
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

I guess I'm just use to sailors
I think they've got water on the brain
I think they've got more water upstairs
Than they got sugar on the candy cane

That's right, it's been a long time
Since I had a man that did it real good
If you ain't scared, take it out
I'll do it like a real life nasty girl should

Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy
My own little nasty world
Tonight, don't you want to come with me?
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy
My own little nasty world
Tonight, don't you want to come with me?
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

Da-uh, da-da
(Ohh, oh, yeah)
(Ohh, oh)

Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy
My own little nasty world
Tonight, don't you want to come with me?
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy
My own little nasty world
Tonight, don't you want to come with me?
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

Please, please
Please, please

Nasty girl (nasty girl)
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?
Nasty girl (nasty girl)
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?
Nasty girl (nasty girl)
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?
Nasty girl (nasty girl)
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?

Ohh (do you think I'm a nasty girl?)
Ohh (nasty)
Nasty girl (nasty girl)
Do you think I'm a nasty girl?
Ohh

I don't like this groove
Try and give me something I can croon to
Catch my drift?

That'll work
Ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh

That's right, I can't control it
I need seven inches or more
Tonight, I can no longer hold it
Get it up, get it up, I can't wait anymore

Uh, it's time to jam
Dance nasty girls, dance
Everybody
Uh, it's time to jam
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance (yeah, ooh)

Everybody
Uh, it's time to jam
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance
Uh, it's time to jam
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance
Uh, it's time to jam
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance
Uh, it's time to jam
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance
Uh, it's time to jam
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance (are you gonna cum?)
Uh, it's time to jam (are you gonna cum?)
Nasty girls, dance, dance, dance (ooh, ooh, ooh, ah)

Uh, is that it? mh
Wake me when you're done
I guess you'll be the only one having fun

Perfect song when I am in my "nasty girl" mood. Perhaps it's because I am a parent or perhaps it's due to my age (and I am SOOOO thankful that I am from a different generation that wants wild sex in the context of a relationship of LOVE). How will any of these nasty girls maintain a loving, committed relationship that lasts for life with their mindset? And how do they think they will garner respect from others when they don't respect themselves? Guys who want a woman in their lives as more than a pet want a challenge. They always have; it's part of their human nature. And this song is just nasty, much like today's generation of females (generally speaking). The best sex is when people love each other, trust each other, have genuine concern for each other, and therefore want to please the other mind, body, and soul. And THAT is my soapbox moment of the day. Nasty song. Nasty girls.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
