This is yet another good song by Stellar Kart. I want to finish last in the worlds eyes (by being a Christian and being set apart from the world it might not make me the most "popular" or "successfull" by the Worlds standards) but by being different from the World (in it, not of it) I would be finishing first in God's eyes, and that is all that matters, so I want to "I want to finish last, Last in the world's eyes and No matter what I do I will be first in your eyes"

I LOVE this song!!! I think most people don't notice it 'cause it's last on the C.D., but it's AWESOME! I like it because it speaks such truth. How I long to finish last here on earth! May I be like David, called a fool for dancing in the streets to give my God glory.
Plus, I could SO see this song playing at the end of some hit t.v. show, like One Tree Hill or The O.C., in the last dramatic moment before it goes off; that would be really cool. It has that sound to it. I could see it.

this song is an awesome nonconformity song. forget what the world thinks. no matter what the world thinks of me, even if i seem to finish the race last... there's so much more waiting for me with God.
This has always been my favorite song by them. Always. It expresses exactly what all Christians should live by, which is that we shouldn't care what the world thinks about the way we look or how we act because what we do is all for God's glory, not for our own. I'd love the chance to sing this in my church.
