Walking with a Ghost (Tegan and Sara cover)

It's so funny that all these comments reveal preference to Tegan and Sara's version. I'm not a fan of covers and a Huge Tegan and Sara fan. But, This Cover is Superb and Outdoes the Original for me.

This song reminds me a lot of The Who's "I Can't Explain," and I'd be willing to bet it was an inspiration for either just The White Stripes' take on this song or both for them and Tegan&Sara's original.

Doesn't sound like any of the other songs they've ever done, and I don't know what it means. @_@

its a Tegan & Sara cover. the original is better, but jack just seems to be having fun with it and making it his own. He even changes the first chord at the beginning. the lyrics are actually "I was walking with a ghost, I said please, please don't INSIST" and so on and so on. can't be bothered to post all the correct lyrics, just search for the tegan & sara original if you want them Song meaning - well I think it's remembering a past lover perhaps? Getting over someone, not wanting to remember the past? My thoughts.

i recorded that little odd noise you hear at 1min 15 sec into the song and played it back words and its him saying "out of my mind"

I think it is about two people who are just dead to each other now, and just don't feel anything anymore for each other.

i agree with shurba on that one.. hey are dead to each other even though theyre right next to each other.. no matter where she goes she's no longer the person in his head.

the tegan and sara version is WAY better
