Is "Willie" Willie Nelson?

SadXuHuang I think the line after that "don't send no more candles" refers to a benefit concert for the 9/11 victims that Chris Rock hosted, and I think he did in fact tell the audience not to send anymore candles because people were sending them instead of donations and materials that people could actually use. I'm not sure about Nelson
Strikingly similiar to Neil Youngs work in the 70's but with a more dark and mature tone. This song reflects the general tone of memories and mortality that is found throughout the album. During the song he mentions problems in our society like corruption, 9-11, fuel dependancy, the war, and the environment. This song might even be an overview of his life anchored by his agnostism and the passing of time, or as he puts it ("moving away from the pain").
It really reminds me of a country-tinged, updated and revamped 'Rockin' in the Free World.'

I don't know it for a fact, but I can't think of another Willie he would be referred to other than Nelson.
But I have no idea why.
