Aika Multaa Muistot (Everything is Nothing)

I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this, one of their best songs for sure! So beautiful and sad, sniff :(

What the hell? This is one of the most emotional Senteced songs and one of theior very best! I think it's basically about every song the band has ever done, this is their way of saying that they meant every lyric they ever wrote and that none of their words were jokes and everything was to be taken seriously

It's about man who had not really good life. People kept dissapointing, maybe even hurting him. He lost faith in this world.

"Everything is nothing to me, I couldn't care less A stern cold man is what I am, hard, relentless"

So he learned to not care about them, what they think or do. He became resistant to them, wiped himself from emotions, at least partially.

"And though I might have strayed the path I wouldn't change a thing I've hated life to the fullest yet with longing deep within"

After those years he don't even know what he done wrong. He hated life and he thinks nothing would change that, no choice made in past could change his perception of world or place where he end up being.

"For my name is sorrow and I'm a friend of misery I deprived myself of love for eternal agony And I don't even dare to try - I know I can only lose Between this life I live and nothing I have to choose"

As I said before, he lived a sorrowful life, filled with pain. He propably couldn't found the loved one or was cheated many times before. So he's not able to love anyone anymore, he don't trust people, he don't believe that he can be happy someday. He just surrendered and is living hollow life of nothingness.

"I'll see you all go down and witness your demise I'll be the last to close, the last to close my eyes And forgive me nothing for I truly meant it all What I've said, what I've done"

Life he lived made him even hate some people. He want to see them fall down, propably people that hurted, dissapointed or cheated on him. And he really wants it.

This song is about man destroyed by sorrowful life, wiped of any positive emotions. He stopped seeking happiness or love of his life. He just want to see how those stupid, cruel, selfish people that hurted him go down and suffer.
