Natalie is really good at creating slow songs that give this feeling of being in love (songs include: Going Crazy, Ooh and of course, Stay) to her listeners. I wish I was a good music critic, and can point out exactly how she do this with her melody, guitar tunes, soothing voice and all that...
But I think most people would agree that this is one of those songs that make you listen with nostalgia, it portrays this universal emotion that we can all relate to - whether it is being in love, or on the verge of heartbreaking.
