The Arson Lyrics

With a bottle of gasoline and a callous match,
Who could be this envious?
Well I know it sounds just like anarchy.
But we all hide behind our wall and alias,
And wait for the perfect time to strike.

We all start fire inside with our words.
Now that's all ashes so remain nameless.

Save your strength your better than me,
When introduce with sticks and stones.
And when you retire,
I'll be waiting with a round of applause.
Here is my throat, so tell the truth.
Your whole life's alone!

With false alarms evidence is burned in sand.
We all sit by and watch the needles turn.

We all start fire inside with our words.
Now that's all ashes so remain nameless.

What a deep song. We all us our words so harshly that we burn each other down (put them down) so that eventually, we're all burnt out. It's all ashes now (in the past) so who cares who said what?

Sticks and stones are just as harsh as words. You killed me with your words, here's my throat for you to slit, at least i have more than the rumors you spread. I still have friends behiind me.

"With false alarms....needles turn" We react to any piece of gossip we hear and then try to forget it and we begin again as the seasons turn.

So pretty much, this relates to all teenagers and drama people in general. This song points out what our words do to each other and how much they really hurt. If we all "burn" each other to the ground, who's going to care?
