No Life Lyrics
No life
No life
Everything you need to keep it together
To keep you off the street
No life
Once I used to see
A beautiful stranger walking next to me
Sometimes it's a long time coming
No life
No life
Still a lot to learn
For offering nothing
You get it in return
No life
Pushed away the hand
The fate that might have found you
That found some other man
No life
Everything you need to keep it together
To keep you off the street
No life
Once I used to see
A beautiful stranger walking next to me
Sometimes it's a long time coming
No life
No life
Still a lot to learn
For offering nothing
You get it in return
No life
Pushed away the hand
The fate that might have found you
That found some other man

I might as well comment on this seeing as no-one else has. Would love to hear it better produced. Some of the lines cut right through me (incidentally, I think some of the lyrics above are wrong): No life / Still a lot to learn / For offering nothing / You get it in return :( Also quite unusual that the vocals stop before the song's even half over then there's an extended jam
The lyrics, though beautiful, are really secondary to the music. ES really rocks out on this one. I too would love to hear a better resolution version, but as is, it's a great jam. I think of this song and See You in Heaven as sister songs, b/c if ES put lyrics over See You in Heaven, there'd be a long jam at the end of that one too. Everything he touched is golden.
I love the music so much, and the tone of the song. One of the only songs that doesn't depress me. I can just sit and rock out to this one. Love it.
I think the last words are...
pushed away the hand the fate that might have found you that found some other man
Such a great song.
