yea i noticed that too... this is a good song... talking about how she could act like she was over him but she could never fool anyone else much less herself... she will always love him and want to be with him no matter what... she cant give up on them... great song

I love listening to this song for some reason.. It's just... so true and so good.

Reminds me of myself. I broke up with this wonderful guy, and I tried hard to convince others, and myself, that I didn't really love him. That I was better off without him. I was wrong, and I knew it. We ended up back together a year later, because he wasn't going to give up on me. We're married now.

She had a boyfriend because it wasn't working out very well, even though she still had feelings for him. She really misses him and wants him back.

I think this song is about wanting to break up with someone you love, but you love them to much to let them go and they will always stay in your heart forever.

This song isn't just about missing a guy, it's about trying to cover up your feelings for someone and realizing that in the end, you can't live without them. You try to make it seem like you're better off, but you relive all the memories and find that you left what was keeping your heart beating.

this is a wonderful song ^_^ in my opinion, it's about still loving an old flame and saying that you can't 'live a lie' an pretend like you don't lie them anymore, because you still do. you could go on pretending that you feel nothing now but it'd be a lie. because you really couldn't live without them. i love this song![:

this song simply means, that no matter how you hide and cover what you really feel, still truth of what's inside prevails...the more you cover, the more it is seen..

I guess I find this song more hopeful than everyone else on here. I think she's saying that they're going through a tough time in their relationship right now, but when it comes down to it, she doesn't want to throw what they have away.

The song starts off saying that they aren't in a good place in their relationship, and the bad parts are both of their faults (cause hurtful words are all that we exchange). So, maybe it would be easier for her to leave this, but the more she thinks about living without him/her, the more she realizes she can't do it. She can't imagine not touching them or waking up and not seeing their face.

So, she's not going to take the easy way out; she's not going to give up on them.

Then, it goes into the chorus. She could say it's over and try to convince herself that she doesn't love them anymore, but no matter how many times she could say it, it'll never be true, and she can't "live a lie"

I don't think this is a breakup song, and I don't think she's delusional. I think it's about how the time in a relationship where it isn't going well, and you have to decide whether or not it's worth sticking around for.

I think of it as a love song. it's saying that things are crappy right now, and this relationship is at a low, but I want to work at this, because it's you I want to be with.
