Black Path Lyrics
It's time to follow the black path
And come tommorow you won't laugh at love
Face down you can see the ground turn
From green and red, black to grey
Where everyone becomes afraid of you
To find your journey on the black path
The darkest Sunday from your own past
Right now, I can see the ground turn
From green and red, black to grey
Where everyone becomes afraid of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
See how lifeless life can be
See how lifeless life can be
See how lifeless life can be
See how lifeless life can be
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
And come tommorow you won't laugh at love
Face down you can see the ground turn
From green and red, black to grey
Where everyone becomes afraid of you
The darkest Sunday from your own past
Right now, I can see the ground turn
From green and red, black to grey
Where everyone becomes afraid of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
Of you
See how lifeless life can be
See how lifeless life can be
See how lifeless life can be
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well
We'll bury well

Fantastic song - makes me tear up a bit
I always thought the line at the beginning was "from green to red", like a battlefield being stained with blood, but on seeing this and listening to the song again, it does sound more like "and". Regardless, this song seems to be about how sometimes as we struggle through life, we end up alienating people by accident - "when everyone becomes afraid of you" - but in the end nothing we do really matters, and life is always going to throw us random curveballs that we can't avoid and just have to swing at the best we can ("see how pathless life can be")
