A Million Years

I think this is about a relationship with someone that is clearly on the verge of ending. Both of them have changed and though it must end he wants her to know that he still cares for her and will still be there for her.

Yeah I agree with spastic kitty. This is my favorite Teddy Geiger song...people need to learn more than 'For You I Will (With Confidence)'

um this song is great! but i think those lyrics are wrong. he says "so i will say ", not "dont let me be"

to me, it means that he's dead try to listen and indulge into the song :p

I think this song is about him being afraid that a relationship is about to end, and he doesn't want it to. He is telling her that he doesn't want to be "one of the things she could do without".... BUT, he knows it's all up to the girl.. so he's steady telling her like: "i will still be loving you a million years, even if you get over it, and decide to leave." In the lines where he says "will you call my phone out of regret, and will you love again with other than me,"... Well, those are like typical thoughts that go thru a person's head after a break-up. They kind of hope that the other person will call them again, and tell them they are still in love...... and they wonder if they are loving someone else. For example, i know that I will always be wondering if my ex boyfriend has found someone new to love.... even though really I don't want to really know the answer. Anyway, by the end of the song, I think he has realized that they are actually over... it's kind of got a melancholic tone to it... but still sweet. :)

Sounds to me like he still cares about her but he doesn't think he can handle any more of the break up and make up relationship tha they have and in spite of all of this, he knows that she's always going to be important to him and he'll be there no matter what happens.

no lie i felt like this song was writen to teddys lil sister.. i know its like almost 99% wrong but i still think the words push toward that idea

i think this could be about first loves, but it does remind me of a friend i had a while ago who i loved so much i'd 'wipe away all of her tears' and stuff. this song could be taken on many a level but it does seem to be a relationship that's going downhill and he knows he should leave her but wants to hear her voice one last time, etc. it's really cute.

i think everyone has been said pretty much..such an amazing song, to me it's about this guy whos saying that he doesn't wanna be jsut one of them u know. like he's telling the girl that even tho this is over he wants her to remember him and even tho they'll enver be together again she must know that he would do anything to mkae her feel better cause he jsut loves her , it seems liek they've been going on and off and finally the time has come, that's how im feeling right now, this amazing girl that i know we've been on and off and the last time i talked to her she basically hated me for hurting her .. ia sked her for another chance but she enver gave me hope so i decided to jsut walk away and erase her from my life..i will always remember her and i wish i could tell her that if i lived amillion years i will always be there for her but i know it's too late :/..good song tho.
