Hmmm... I should figure that this one is about him -being Dan- is in this crappy relationship, and its going nowhere, but its not going to end, because hes seemingly content with going nowhere, as long as hes going. I think it's possible that he likes someone so much that it is disorienting but it doesn't much matter because it won't get him anywhere and he's come to be content with that or at least accept it.
