omfg this is my most fucking favorite song ever it rocks i first saw thesse guys in vancouver bc canada when they were touring with franz ferdinand and i thought they were the best band there hmm this song looks like its about a girl remembering a past thing and seeing as how he was stupid and cluiless thats he didnt know that maybe she was the one and wants to nkow if eh will ever meet her again and he cant stop thinking about her have u guys seen the video its so hot

Definately some sort of reflection here... Not very clear really. Always thought it was the singer trying to comfort the girl, but really fuzzy. Bloody brilliant song though.
I can imagine the film clip to this being some lonely girl wandering some derelict streets where everything is greyscale with the band sort of hovering above in a cloud or something, singing to her but she can't hear or see them so she just walks on. The song seems to be her thoughts, but also critical of her and remorseful from an outsider's point of view.

I see this song as being more like it's about a lunar Eclipse. I think of she as the moon, and the singer is the sun. in a lunar eclipse the sun and the moon see to be together in the aame place, if only for a few moments, and it is a long time before they meet once gain. but that's just how I see it.

In my mind what makes this song great is that it seems to be from the vantage point of the man. He's romanticizing that this girl is out there reminiscing about him and about them. He sees her in a warm place with a golden sun.
It's the third person perspective that makes this song work.

This evokes such imagery for me. I imagine a girl thinking of a boy that she met once, perhaps fleetingly. She wonders if they'll meet again... (it's actually how I'm feeling about someone I personally met once...!).
Best start to this song i've ever heard was when they did a Daft Punks around the world looped intro...wow!
