Hey Mrs. Lyrics

I look at you
I look at you
I look at you
I look at you

Hey, Mrs. Grey
Are you awake yet?
You beauty sleep is just a dream
Those lines on your face
They tell your story
So now it's time for laser-beam

I look at you
A thousand miles above the ground
You're not coming down
Ah, what a view
You drift about, you're spinning round
You're not coming down

Hey, Mr. Blue,
You feeling randy?
Do you still flirt with her next door?
Wearing that dress
Nick from your mother
It doesn't fit you anymore

I look at you
A thousand miles above the ground
You're not coming down
Ah, what a view
You drift about, you're spinning round
You're not coming down

Hey, Mrs. Green
Whose that you're out with?
He's twenty-five, but not your son
Show him your bits
It's what you're there for
This woman's weekly (weak?), it keeps you young

I look at you
A thousand miles above the ground
You're not coming down
Ah, what a view
You drift about, you're spinning round
You're not coming down

Cover art for Hey Mrs. lyrics by I Monster

It's about a middle-aged woman (Mrs Grey - lovely choice, maybe her hair is greying; and Mrs - instantly dates her); she's trying to feel young again, through plastic surgery (laser-beam) that erases her history, and through dating a man so young that not long ago he'd have had to nick from his mother to take her out. It's quite funny, but it doesn't really make fun of them, the beat makes the whole thing feel sexy.

For me every verse is a new story.

"Hey, Mrs. Grey Are you awake yet? You beauty sleep is just a dream Those lines on your face They tell your story So now it's time for laser-beam"

Mrs. Grey is trying to beat age with her beauty sleep and surgery. "Gray signifies that she is getting old."

"Hey, Mr. Blue, You feeling randy? Do you still flirt with her next door? Wearing that dress Nick from your mother It doesn't fit you anymore"

Mr. Blue hasn't had any action for a long time and he can't stop fantasizing about his neighbor. He has a bad case of "blue" balls.

"Hey, Mrs. Green Whose that you're out with? He's twenty-five, but not your son Show him your bits It's what you're there for This woman's weekly (weak?), it keeps you young"

Mrs. Green is a cougar who picks up younger men to sleep with. "Green signifies experience" which she has since she's older.
