love this song. mostly the line, "that's when i knew you were gonna make me lonely." i guess for me, it's just that moment where you realize youre going to hurt. obviously, sounds like a long distance relationship thing - "telephone from far away." so- being in a type of situation where it's a constant struggle, and realizing the impending heartbreak is going to make you wish for a time when things were a lot easier... ehhhh, brilliant.

i think this song is really sad...i think its about a girl who left the guy, and he just goes out with other girls to foget his pain coz she really hurt me...plus she is far awa and somehow he hasn't any control..well anyway i luv the stars, u ve gotta see them live its worth!!!
Maybe it doesn't flow when you read it outloud because it's meant to be sung. (Just a thought seeing as what a beautiful song it is with lots of "flow")

This song is absolutely lovely. I think that "You telephone from far away" does not mean they were in a long-distance relationship, but that she left him and called him from somewhere far away. She just needed to get away. It says she called him, like she was at a hotel or someplace not home. He asked her if she was coming home soon, and she said she needed time. Just my thoughts. But these lyrics are breathtaking. I love stars!
