madeup love song #43 Lyrics

i love you through sparks and shining dragons, i do,
now there's poetry, in an empty coke can.
I love you through sparks and shining dragons, i do,
now there's majesty, in a burnt out caravan.

you got me off the paper round, just sprang out of the air,
the best things come from nowhere,
i love you, i don't think you care.

i love you through sparks and shining dragons, i do,
and the symmetry in your northern grin
I love you through sparks and shining dragons, i do,
i can see myself in the refill litter bin.

you got me off the sofa, just sprang out of the air, the best things come from nowhere, i can't believe you care.

Yes I believe you

I love this song so so much. It makes me want to cry and smile at the same time. It reminds me of when you are unsure of whether someone who you really care about cares about you, but you can't help yourself but love them.

God this song is so beautiful...it seems to be describing all the ways you feel when you love someone and you dont know if they love you back.very lovesick.

This song talks about how everything suddenly becomes beautiful and poetic when you're falling in love with someone - you see poetry in silly things - "Now there's poetry in an empty coke can".

And it usually comes from nowhere - you meet someone when you're not expecting or suddenly you realize you like someone that is not your usual type - "The best things come from nowhere".

But there's also a bitter side to falling for someone when you don't know how they feel about you "I love you I don't think you care"...

Hopefully you realize they do care, and all the poetry makes even more sense: "The best things come from nowhere, I can't believe you care." <3

I love this song, it's just so happy and giddy feeling and makes me want to dance, hehe. I really love the last lines, with the music and the way the singer sings it's such a celebration of liking someone and finding out they like you back. Yay!

The rhythm is so dancing and happy, but the lyric is so sad. When you are unsure of other people's feeling, Goddamit, it's just fuckin' terrible! Except that, the music is So great and I can't stop listening to it!

i think it is a satire on 'normal' bland pop love songs but this person really does care for the girl/guy and is singing this jokily but with the real meaning that theres love underneath it!

yeah i agree that this song is pretty satirical.... especially looking at the bits people have picked out so far. but i also love it and its lyrics anyway its been on repeat for a looong time, actually cant stop listening to it

i don't really know about the satire...... but i love this song for the way it seems really well, childish is probably the word. The dragons, the "i do" shows a childlike insistance and the paper round. I just think its a really sweet, urgent declaration to a first love.

whatever its meaning, its still my favourite song of this year s far
