Painkiller (Judas Priest cover) Lyrics
Faster than a bullet
Terrifying scream
Enraged and full of anger
He's half man and half machine
Rides the Metal Monster
Breathing smoke and fire
Closing in with vengeance soaring high
He is the Painkiller
This is the Painkiller
Planets devastated
Mankind's on its knees
A saviour comes from out the skies
In answer to their pleas
Through boiling clouds of thunder
Blasting bolts fo steel
Evils going under deadly wheels
He is the Painkiller
This is the Painkiller
Faster than a lazer bullet
Louder than an atom bomb
Chromium plated boiling metal
Brighter than a thousand suns
Flying high on rapture
Stronger free and brave
Nevermore encaptured
They've been brought back from the grave
With mankind ressurrected
Forever to survive
Returns from Armageddon to the skies
He is the Painkiller
This is the Painkiller
Wings of steel Painkiller
Deadly wheels Painkiller
Can't Stop The Painkiller
Terrifying scream
Enraged and full of anger
He's half man and half machine
Breathing smoke and fire
Closing in with vengeance soaring high
This is the Painkiller
Mankind's on its knees
A saviour comes from out the skies
In answer to their pleas
Blasting bolts fo steel
Evils going under deadly wheels
This is the Painkiller
Louder than an atom bomb
Chromium plated boiling metal
Brighter than a thousand suns
Stronger free and brave
Nevermore encaptured
They've been brought back from the grave
Forever to survive
Returns from Armageddon to the skies
This is the Painkiller
Wings of steel Painkiller
Deadly wheels Painkiller

Even though this is a Judas Priest cover, that doesn't mean that Death and Schuldiner couldn't use it for their own artistic vision. There is no Death song with this kind of energy, so IMO this is the perfect song to "kill the pain." See what I mean?
I think that rumour has truth behind it.
they re did this better than judas priest
It's a Judas Priest cover, and a great one...i think the guitar solo is waaaay better in this version, and the drums too
killer vocals!!!
I like this better then the Judas Priest version.
...anyone named Blake is gay
Superb cover /m/
I heard an interesting theory about this song once... The whole "TSOP" album is filled with sadness, despair, hopelesness, fear etc. Not only the lyrics, but the music as well (all the "crying guitars"...). That's why the CD ends with "Painkiller" - to KILL all this PAIN. Otherwise the listener could blow his brains out or something.
Wow, this is just.. amazing. I love it! (completely agreeing with the_clairvoyant here)
it's a judas priest cover patrixxx....
