oh my gosh, i love the arrangement of notes in this song (i'm a big music person) and i love the lady who does mulan's voice, its pure heaven...its like............eating.....cheesecake...and the song works well for my fitting, too hah

I love this song. It reminds me of myself in a way. You think no one will like you for who you really are so you try to hide the real you from the world.

This song is about a woman who feels a disconnection between the way she feels inside about her identity, and what she sees in the mirror. Mulan struggles to conform to the roles her family and society have boxed her into, and longs to align her exterior to what lays in her interior.
