Monsters Lyrics
Girl, what's come between you and me?
look right through me
i'll let it go
i can't help this feeling anymore
i won't go anywhere
maybe you'll see me
we are
we are the shaken
we are the monsters
underneath your bed
yeah
believe what you read
we are
we are mistaken
we are the voices
inside your head
yeah
believe what you see
it came as no surprise
you bring me back to life
believe me
you bleed for me
i'll bleed for you
i caught you walking through walls
drowned with applause
from the world that makes me crazy
we are
we are the shaken
we are the monsters
underneath your bed
yeah
believe what you read
we are
we are mistaken
we are the voices
inside your head
yeah
believe what you see
we are the monsters
we are the monsters
we are the monsters
underneath your bed
we are the voices
we are the voices

underneath your bed
we are the monsters

I think it's really ridiculous to come to a site like this and continuely say "This band blows, etc., etc." We want your two cents on the meaning of the lyrics, not on whether or not the band is worth listening to. So just shut up.
Anyway, I think this song is about Hollywood like someone said before... basically saying that they aren't going anywhere and that they'll make sure we'll see them:
i won't go anywhere maybe you'll see me
Then again it could just be a love song too! Either way, good song.
This song is so damn catchy...
Voices blows, what's with bands "recreating themselves" on their Sophomore albums? Them and Finch...
they're monsters... (this song is awesome, btw)
This song is about Hollywood, apparently.
I can't wait to buy the new album
i love this song..its one of those that at first you don't like and it even kinda annoys you..but it grew on me and now i cant wait to buy VOICES on valentines day..i'll be first in line
i love this song. the intro and the clapping are just fantastic. his voice has improved a lot. "you bleed for me i'll bleed for you".. love it.
I agree with unknown-Angle this song is so damned catchy. can't wait toget the album just for this one song
I disagree with them recreating themselves though I can't truely say that for I have yet to listen to the album. This song is nothing like any song on Stories and Alibis. For one the tone is totally different, it is dark, almost sinister. It is also a song that isn't about a girl as were all the songs on Stories and Alibis. They've grown a bit, on this one song at least.
