I Remember You Two Lyrics
The wind would whisper and I'd think of you
And all the tears you cried, that called my name
But when you needed me I came through
And when you needed me I came through
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, and every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you
When love went blind but you would make me see
I'd stare a lifetime into your eyes
So that I knew that you were there for me
Time after time you were there for me
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, and every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you
But that's the price we paid
And through it all we kept the promise that we made
I swear you'll never be lonely
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, and every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
You you you you you
1 2 3 4!
Is this a different song than I Remember You?? The lyrics here vary at the end, but is there a version of the song that actually goes like this? If so, why?
This song is a remake of the Ballad. This title was released on Thickskin, Skid Row's 4th studio album with Johnny Solinger on vocals. It is a lot faster pased. It does not include the original second verse from the original version, but rather it breaks the first verse up into seperate verses.
I'm really trying to give this album a fair chance, if nothing else but because Skid Row and Slave to the Grind are two of my favorite albums of all time. I can almost get into the other songs, but this just totally gets on my nerves. His singing butchers the whole thing, especially in the chorus. They should have let sleeping dogs lie. But, they are Skid Row and they can do what they want with it, either way, I'll still have the old version handy..
I refuse to listen to this version!!!It hurts my ears!!!
The rest of album can be judged, it may pass as ok if we forget the name of the band (there actually are some songs that I liked), but to make punk version of such a beautiful ballad... it is such A SIN!!! UNFORGIVABLE! Not to mention that Solinger's voice CANNOT BE COMPARED to Bach's.
I don't know why Bolan needed this... As a true (former) Skid Row fan, it just makes me sad that things between them turned out like they did.
