"Manifest Destiny/ Sorority Tears" as written by and Miller....
The bones are broken and the will is sunk
How did everything get so fucked up
Do you want to change your mind
You can always change your mind

You and I could quit this scene
bulid a town and then secede
Like an Adam and an Eve
To the dreamers go the dreams
But Believers have the lead
It's a frightnin', frightnin' thing

Goin' to the land of opportunity
Manifest destiny
Do you want to change your mind
You can always change your mind

The moon and the stars are ganging up on the sun

The sky is falling down
friends and lovers
The world is coming down
down, down

General Commenti always thought it was 'but the LEADERS have the lead." i thought it was a political statment that people with large dreams and hopes are not the ones leading us, instead its a bunch of old men who know how to lead, but not where.
