Que Sera, Sera Lyrics
When I was just a little BOY
I asked my mother
What will I be
Will I be HANDSOME
Will I be rich
Here's what she said to me
Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart
What lies ahead
Will we have rainbows
Day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said
Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
Now I have Children of my own
They ask their mother
What will I be
Will I be handsome
Will I be rich
I tell them tenderly
Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
Que Sera, Sera
I asked my mother
What will I be
Will I be HANDSOME
Will I be rich
Here's what she said to me
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
I asked my sweetheart
What lies ahead
Will we have rainbows
Day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
They ask their mother
What will I be
Will I be handsome
Will I be rich
I tell them tenderly
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
Que Sera, Sera

my mum used to sing this song to me when i was a baby!!!! good times good times
I love this song. It's from "The Man Who Knew Too Much". I heard Doris didn't even want to sing it.
This song is pretty cool. :P
this and "you are my sunshine" are the two songs i will definitely be singing to my children when i'm older
It's about a kid and she/he asks her/his mom what their life will be like the mother simply says dont worry, what happends will happens. live life now. the girl grows up asks her hubby if their life together will turn out right, her hubby saya, dont worry what happens happens. live life now. she gets kids they ask her what will life turn out to be for me? she says dont worry, what happens happens live life now....it's so cute. when i have kids i'll sing this to them.
I was a child when this song was popular (unless I'm mistaken, and due to age I may be:). I used to love it...sing it to myself. It made me smile. Day was popular when life seemed so simple and innocent. (I recall when married television couples had to keep at least one leg on the floor if they kissed on the bed; when cuss words were not used in the media; and when we could use our imagination instead of sex hitting us in our faces). Ah....there were definitely some perks to the generation of Day's.
curiosity about the future is natural, but unavailing ... live in the present and -- based on your actions/choices, as well as many other variables -- the future may turn out alright or not, but don't spend your time worrying about it or anticipating it. live in the gift that we call "the present"
what matters in life are looks and money
what matters in life are looks and money (and, of course, rainbows)
