This song is about a suicide bombers last letter or words to his wife before he goes off to do his "bloody work".
i would have thought more ppl would have commented on epicure.
this song is absolutely to die for.. i agree it is about a suicide bomber and they are singing it to their loved one (clearly a girl).. but´everday since you left´ - has she perhaps died previously and is sleeping soft in his room in his mind or his form of heaven? unsure.. but oh god it is so sad and so beautiful.. gorgeous voice.

ok... what is the word for useing something to describe something, a metaphore ore something like that, you read "goodbye explosives ticking strapped to my chest" and think "BOOOM!!! bomber!!!' maby he means that his heart is breaking? or that he cannot stand it anymore and he feels like he is about to explode, or cancer? or heart desease, it is a goodbye song (no duh) however i dont thing epicure are into suicide bombers... however... they do have a song called self destruct in five so... maby they are?
i am a idiot, it is not about any of that (you are all idiots too) it is about a girl who dies and he will see her soon... in heaven... when he kills himself... "goodbye explosives ticking... strapped to my chest" is just a simple metaphore for "im gunna kill myself" saying goodbye to her and the world so he can wake up next to her in heaven ^^ sill me
I couldn't agree more. I don't think many suicide bombers are motivated by missing someone. It's a metaphor.
