This song is about a relationship that went bad. It seems like the girl was the one doing the breaking up, leaving the guy feeling like he doesnt know what happened. I think its about someone who was blindsided by a breakup when he thought everything was going well. He wished he could do something to make it all better but the girl has decided and he has no say in what happends. Breaking up sucks
I agree alot with what afipunk84 said, I also think it might be a bit more involved as he does say "I wish... I could keep death waiting" This might imply that the person he loved so dearly has died as he pleads with death to "Don't tear us apart." I could be wrong but thats how i interpreted the last part. Fucking amazing song none the less. THP <3
