In math (like algebra), when something is to the nth degree, it means x to the power of n (x being the something). So if n=2, x to the nth degree is x squared. I'm not sure what that has to do with the song, though.

I don't think they'd create a pointless song, I think the part "Our love is to the nth degree" may mean something along the lines of their love is never ending. I've heard people say stuff to the Nth degree is also an unknown point of time or something.
n is a variable. so if its 2 to the nth degree (aka power. 2^n)
