I think these two phrases sum up the whole song. There's a girl he wants to give all his love to but she simply isn't interested. He has nothing else in his possession and he's willing to give it all to her. Really powerful imo.
I Love this song, I think half these wolfmother songs are about being stoned or something, but this song really opens the album really well

It's about a guy who stands back and watches this girl (who's possibly doing drugs because she is talking to trees - or maybe it's a metaphor) and he just watches because everytime he comes close either she runs away or he chickens out, but he really cares, and he's cared since the first time he's seen this great girl.
Actually, this song is about a rabbit. When Andrew was in this field in the great surrounding the great Hollywood forests, he saw this rabbit. And the feeling the rabbit gave him as it got eaten by the fox was a colossal one. A feeling of relief that the circle of life is still fucntioning within all of us.
I know Andrew's been a photographer, so I think he might just be a little deeper than what you all talking about drugs all the time think. But you can't always tell the difference(...).
