leetwim, if you could read, you would notice that the writing credits for the lyrics go to Dani. this is THE BEST song on the CD
The guy who sings this is scarry as fuck. But his voice and the beat of the song go together amazingly. I really like this song, one of the best on the Roadrunner United CD.
The person who is singing is Dani Filth, from cradle of filth. If you liked this, maybe you should check them out, theyre a good band. This song is very much in the style of the majority of teir songs, Id say.
I'm not a cradle of filth fan but the album nymphetamine is to be possessed!!! Almost all the sogs kick ass, hope they will always keep doing like this in the futur
firstly mr filth has the worst voice of ny metal frontman ever
secondly he realy wrote some great amb lyrics for this song, he seems to know quite a bit about the 'daniel' prophesies
this song is about the 'beast' prophecy, the beast was a rather gnarly character that represents the roman empire andd its successors, leading up to the anglo american world power
i'm realy impressed though that he seems to refferance the 'king of the north/ south prophesy' which is much harder to understand,
it follows two kings from little after alexander the great to our modern times, then 'the dawning of a golden age', but notably when understood corectly it does say quite alot about the 'caesers and tsars', though i might spell caeser kaiser.
the 'tree' prophecy also gives the precise year when the 'gentile times end', satan is cast down to earth and jesus begis to rule in heaven

Shangri-La is from james hiltons lost horizon, and thats not the bible, the lyrics seem almost like brownings monologues, in that it isn't christian or satanic. its a little ambiguouse
talking about brownings dram mono's:

also is moon childe a sideways referance to maidens moonchild
or is their a comon source?
also the word childe means knight- does that have a relavant baring
i enjoy this song only cause of the drumming.. mike smith of suffocation is intensly intense... and that blast beat is so fuckin awsome
