The Frankston Line Lyrics

The day is grey, don't love you anymore
The sun smiles on the red tiles, I don't love you anymore
The Frankston Line's full of teenage crime
And the cops can't do no more
Hooded topes, cigarettes at stops, I don't love you anymore

I'll leave you, I won't leave you
The sea's so beautiful

The council plans for seaside plans mean beauty writ of law
Views of seas in legalese, I don't love you anymore

I searched through your house for my skin
We end to begin
The sea dog will say it's alright
We'll be alright

Hah I live in Frankston and the lines "The Frankston Line's full of teenage crime And the cops can't do no more Hooded topes, cigarettes at stops" Are pretty much true. Catching a Frankston train is the scariest thing someone could do. Awesome song tho!

i come from frankston!...well nearby anyway, itsl ike the next town (and here towns arent far away, its not like country or anything) just for the record, frankston is full of crime, its probably one of the most crime ridden places in the state (Victoria) other than innercity areas of Melbourne (there ya go, a lesson ont he crime rate of part of Australia, isnt anyone reading this lucky!)

As for the song, well i think it may be leaving home, like a person who cared deeply about where their roots lay, but now are uprooting and leaving, even though they may not want to...just my opinion
